lyrics
Are You out of your mind?
Don't scratch your roots!
Artery that ties you to the soil
They make YOU important!
Don't stop grabbing the dirt
Or you can't hold on no more
But it feels itchy, and it grows stronger and stronger!
I have to pull them out, right now!
Sorry, if I die
Capillaries tensing, snapping
Last breaths are done
Memories of the ground
Run off the bark
Then the tree got rid of his roots, and flew away
the forest watched in silence
Animals, bugs, rivers and the wind became unsounded
and swallowed a little piece of the impossible
Can a feeling be unnatural, if a living being feels it?
Can a feeling be unnatural, if a living being feels it?
As he stepped out of the clouds
the landscape unfolded
and the natural symmetry showed
that rising is falling falling
The realization
Of the circle
Showed that no poles
Can bind him
Then the tree woke up in the forest
Looked around, and admitted the fact
That it was only a dream
And he's standing still
Can a feeling be unnatural, if a living being feels it?!
Can a feeling be unnatural, if a living being feels it?!

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
